Origin of love?

Posted on April 12, 2026  •  3 minutes  • 527 words

In the long stretch of past lives, was this thirst always hidden?
Only now, in the sparkle of her smile and shade of her eyes,
Does a brand-new, never-known season begin to dance

A silence of affection that vibrates through every atom,
A soul that refuses to stay still,
urged by an unknown call to rush for something

This restlessness in the chest is but a sculptor’s hand,
Carving a soul into the very walls where your breath began.
Like the heavens answering to steal this restless heart,
With the melody of a blissful hymn, something new is born

Can your eyes ever see the wind that carries the scent of the jasmine?
Can the shore ever measure the depth of the sea’s longing?
Just as the flute doesn’t know the song until the breath passes through,
Your life did not know this melody until the stir of something new.

To a tiny sprout drowning in its own thirst,
She is a raindrop that makes the petals burst,
The very drop shall become the dawn of spring,
Rising as the destiny you never knew your heart could bring; maybe it’s love.

Unless you ask the burning forge,
The earth cannot prove it is a diamond and not mere clay.
If your burning heart is asked what her presence means,
Then the proof is the boon of love that arrives to remain.

Does the river, leaping past its banks, ever know
Which first raindrop fueled its wild, surging flow?
Does the flower, basking in the sun’s golden glow,
Recall which first stone whispered for it to grow?

This is a meeting of the sky and the earth,
Yet no one could point and say where it actually began
It is a truth that needs no witness to stand,
A light that needs no lamp held in a hand

Is there a date on the calendar to mark when life truly begins?
A moment to witness when love dawns in a heart?
If love could be defined by a simple word,
Would that word truly understand its own depth?

It is a story history has never learned to read,
An emotion even poetry fails to sow a seed,
A sweetness that knows no scales or rhymes,
A sacred stillness outside the boundaries of time.

The moment your glances locked,
Time itself stood still to take a breath.
Your heart forgets its scars and burning flame,
Every instant she utters your name.

Such is this pull—a gravity that doesn’t bring you down,
But lifts you up until the stars are within your grasp.
And now, as your heart’s desire awakens in you,
Tomorrow’s destiny already shines in her gaze.

If there is a companion to walk beside you,
Even a stumble becomes a rhythmic dance.
With this person to share all your great moments,
Even your demon becomes a playful joker by chance.

And if you ever wonder when it all truly began,
You will find no answer in time—
Only in the quiet certainty
That somewhere between your breath and the light in her eyes,
You ceased to be two, and became the horizon where the sun must rise.
