Devotee is beauty for God

There is an old Indian song where the woman claims that she is the beauty for her man. For me, this seemed a bit unusual. I felt that this was expressing pride or ego. So I went through a small stroll of beauty, and this is what occured to me. Voyage with me for a while

Mathematics is beauty for Science
Lightning is beauty for thunder
Cold is beauty for snow
Greenary is a beauty for the breeze

Thorns are a beauty for cactus
Bees are beauty for flowers
Majesty is beauty for a lion

A smile is a beauty for a face
Vision is beauty for an eye
Tear is beauty for love

Life is a beauty of creation
Death is the beauty of life
Dreams are beauty for sleep
Pain is beauty for disease

Acceptance is beauty for failure
Humility is beauty for achievement
A question is beauty to knowledge
Silence is beauty to wisdom

Intellect is beauty for Intelligence
Courage is beauty for strength
Determination is beauty for hard work
Availability is beauty for ability

Faith is beauty for devotion
A devotee is beauty for God

And as I was going through this journey, the last line made me realise that claiming to be a beauty for your partner does not reflect ego. I realised that love indeed gives you the right to claim your partner as your own, just the way a devotee can claim the lord as his own.
